Athens' Favorite Forthmeal

We all know that fest season is the best season. And with drinking all day and drinking all night, fourthmeal is almost unavoidable. Fourthmeal, you know, the meal between breakfast and dinner, is probably the best meal of the day for any college student. With Wendy's, Chipotle and Quiznos all on the same block, Court Street is an epicenter for Athens late-night food... and those are just the chain restaurants.

And hey, if you're 21, don't forget the bars. Athens has some of the best bar food around (i.e. Pigskin, Casa Nueva). Most of the bars uptown feature a full menu, so next time you're thinking of leaving your friends for a hot dog at the Snackbox, ask to see if the bar has a menu. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

  1. Souvlaki's has been the bane of my late night existence since my freshman year. Its open till 5am almost every night so its always open when normal people would be sleeping. But a double meat Souvlaki is like a slice of heaven on Earth, and if you get a piece of baklava with it...The only thing I don't like about Goodfellas and Big Mama's being number one is that they are terrible if you're sober, Souvlaki's is always excellent. But I suppose as far as popularity is concerned, you are in the right for saying that.
